This study observes consumers' concerns regarding security and personal data. Main observation of this survey: the French, rather well informed on the subject, remain very reluctant to the idea of sharing their data with commercial companies , whether online or in store... 60% of French people refuse to Buy Bulk SMS Service share their data online The Unisys Security Index™ site revealed that 40% of French people do not want to share their personal data with companies. Their biggest fears revolve around sharing personal data on commercial websites, with 59% of respondents saying they are not willing to share their personal data online . They also do not wish to share their data with physical points of sale which wish to keep track of their customers' loyalty cards; 59% of respondents saying they are not ready to do so. One of the main reasons given for this refusal is the fear of seeing their personal data sold to third parties (46%). The only type of private data that the French are willing to share is that which concerns their medical data with doctors . Indeed, among French respondents, 71% say they are ready to do so.
